Aliexpress haul for Jemaine's Bachelorette Party

As her maid of honour, I designated Jemaine's bachelorette party an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party!

Got some stuff from Aliexpress.com for the occasion. These candy tins I thought I'd use to store some favours for the other bridesmaids and guests (she hasn't decided on how many she's having yet, so I just got them in case!)

As for these Coffee/Sugar/Tea tin cylinders, I will be using them as flower vases for the table scape. Because it's an Alice in Wonderland theme, I thought it should look vintage as well.

These vintage skeleton keys will be used as escort card accessories. Everyone knows that Alice in Wonderland themed tea parties need to have vintage-looking keys as details! If you're unaware, in the story, Alice uses them to go through the doors to Wonderland after she falls down the rabbit holes.

I love ordering from Aliexpress because although they don't arrive that quickly, the items are reasonably-priced (read: cheap!) although in USD, and they have amazing variety! They also look exactly as the pictures represent them. The only thing is that they're made in China, so don't expect amazing quality. But hey, I'll take what I can get! So far, I've ordered a wide-brimmed wool hat, heart shaped sunglasses, black and gold wayfarers, and like three silken robes in different colours. Shopaholic much. They usually take about two weeks to a month to arrive and always come with free registered postage with Singpost, which is great.

I'm so excited for Jemaine's party. I've already scoped out a location, the only things I still need to get are costumes!

Obviously, Jemaine will be Alice. I've found the perfect outfit for her on eBay, and her other bridesmaids and I will dress up as the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit, Dormouse, and the March Hare. I'm pretty sure those were all the guests at the Mad Tea Party.

What else?
